Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SpecZip ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

3. Blueprint Licensing

Free Blueprints

Free blueprints are licensed under the MIT License unless otherwise specified. You may use, modify, distribute, and sell them freely.

Premium Blueprints

When you purchase a premium blueprint, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the blueprint for your own projects. You may modify the blueprint for your own use. You may not redistribute or resell the blueprint itself.

Premium blueprints entitle you to all future updates to that blueprint at no additional cost ("perpetual upgrades").

4. Creator Terms

If you publish blueprints on SpecZip as a creator:

  • You retain full ownership of your blueprints
  • You set your own prices
  • You earn 70% of each sale (before payment processing fees)
  • You are responsible for the quality and accuracy of your blueprints
  • You may not publish blueprints that infringe on others' intellectual property

5. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the SpecZip team. Please contact us if you experience issues with a purchase.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Using the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Uploading malicious code or content
  • Attempting to bypass payment or access controls
  • Harassing other users or creators
  • Scraping or crawling the Platform without authorization

7. Limitation of Liability

SpecZip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform or any blueprint obtained through it.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
