When you create an account on SpecZip, we collect your email address and display name. If you connect a Stripe account as a creator, we store your Stripe account ID for payout processing — we do not store full banking details.
We automatically collect usage data such as pages visited, blueprints viewed, and search queries. This helps us improve the marketplace experience.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and maintain your account
- Process blueprint purchases and creator payouts
- Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, password resets)
- Improve marketplace features and recommendations
- Detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity
3. Data Sharing
We share your data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing and creator payouts
- Azure DevOps — issue tracking and project management
- Vercel — hosting and deployment

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or tax purposes (e.g., purchase records).
